Hi There!!!
Thanks for visiting!! I am Amanda, wife to Matt, mother to Jacob, Leah, and Noah! We are missionaries to Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, Co-Pastors at Sharps Corner Baptist Mission, Camp Directors at Chanku Waste Youth Ranch, Camp Directors with TeamEffort Missions, and Lovers of Jesus! This is a glimpse into my journey of growth, self discovery, motherhood, womanhood, ministry, self love, homeschooling, reaching out, and living an honest, grateful life. Living in the beautiful badlands of South Dakota and among the beautiful Lakota culture has proven to be one big adventure!
I eat chocolate way too much, ask for forgiveness from my children more than I will admit, love and admire my husband, say the wrong things at the wrong times, seek wisdom daily in the small things, have a million things "pinned" that I will never get to, have a desire to read more books, I mess up and have some ugly moments, I love hugs and affection, want to change the world in some way, I want to make a difference. I love the Lakota Sioux Natives and their culture. I want to serve them justly. I want to serve the Lord the best way that I can and be faithful in all that He has called me to. I yearn to see young girls love and respect themselves, and be confident in their own self worth. For them to know their worth only comes from Christ. HE has set them apart and desires for them take hold of the promises and gifts that He gives so freely! I want to love and encourage other women in their own journey.
In being "refined" by fire, ultimately it will take time. It will hurt a little. But it will bring much Glory to God. That is my prayer. My hope. That in this journey we are on, I don't stop learning and growing. And in the end, I want to glorify my Father and make His name known among the nations.

Holy cow, it's awesome to see how you're following the beautiful path God's set before you two and your lovely family. It's encouraging to see how God has preserved and strengthened and Grown your love for each other and for Him throughout the years. It's been awesome to be able to watch from afar since the beginning. More power to you both, and glory and praise to our Creator. Rock on!
